Starting Primary School Webinar
This webinar will support parents, teachers, and other professionals working with children with Down syndrome as they start primary school. Topics covered will include the typical learning profile of a child with Down syndrome; preparation for the change at primary school and at home; SNA allocation; additional teaching supports; early literacy & numeracy; and other supports and resources The webinar will be jointly facilitated by Olive Buckeridge – Early Years Support Specialist DSI, and Fidelma Brady, Head of Education DSI.

Starting Post Primary School Webinar
This webinar will support parents, teachers, and other professionals working with children with Down syndrome as they start post –primary school. Topics covered will include preparation for the change at post -primary school and at home; goals for children at post primary school; and possible pathways through Junior Cycle. The webinar will be jointly facilitated by Nicola Hart- National Support & Research Specialist DSI; and Fidelma Brady- Head of Education DSI.
