Sligo Leitrim Foróige are now accepting referrals for ‘Non Violent Resistance Programme’ which will commence intake screening with referrals in September 2022. Programme due to begin on 5th October 2022 (Wednesday)
About NVR:
The Non Violent Resistance Programme provides parents/carers with skills and knowledge to understand and manage children’s violent, challenging or abusive behaviour within the family home.
There is an emphasis on influencing a change in the relationship between the parent and the child, on the behaviour of the parent and on increasing positive parental presence in the child’s life.

Where and when? The programme will be delivered in group format over Zoom for a total of 7 sessions and is free of charge. Following the intake process, dates and times of the group will be confirmed with parents.
