Supporting your adolescent to make responsible choices.
Parents Plus Adolescent Programme will be starting at Foróige CRIB Youth & Family Support Project, Sligo on Thursday the 22nd of February 6.00 to 8.00pm. Parents Plus Adolescent Programme covers topics such as :
Getting to know and connecting with your teenager,
Communicating Effectively and Positively,
Listening to and Encouraging Teenagers,
Negotiating rules and boundaries,
Teaching teenagers responsibility,
Managing Conflict & Aggression,
Solving problems together, and other specific topics as decided by parents in the group.
The Parents Plus Adolescents Programme also gives parents the unique opportunity to gain support and ideas from other parents, which can be immensely valuable.
When: 22nd of February 6.00 to 8.00pm.
Where: The Crib, Rockwood Parade, Sligo.
