Participate in the day-to-day activities on the farm

Social Farming is the practice of offering activities on family farms as a form of social support service. In Social Farming the farm remains a working farm at its core but invites people to participate in the day-to-day activities on the farm. Social Farming provides people who use services with the opportunity for inclusion, to increase self-esteem, and to improve health and well-being
The open day will give individuals an opportunity to learn more about Social Farming Ireland on one of their active Social farms! There will be a talk on the day from some of the Social Farming Ireland team and Social Farmers as well as a walk around the farm to see what activities are on offer for participants.
