Two part workshop taking place over two Thursday mornings, 11th and 18th of April.
Session 1: What is ADHD and how can it impact family life? Thursday 11th April 10.30am-12pm:
- Learn about relationship between ADHD and Executive Function
- Why does your child find it hard to follow directions and stay on task
- Building connections with hard-to-reach children
Session 2 : ADHD and Learning and Motivation: Thursday 18th April, 10.30am-12pm
- Building skills for success
- Collaboration instead of confrontation
Dr Clara O’Byrne is a chartered psychologist with expertise in Coaching & Education. She has a particular interest in supporting parents and is a certified ADHD Parent Coach. Parent Coaching helps you to understand and respond effectively to your child’s unique needs. Dr O’Byrne has extensive experience of working with young people with additional needs and their families, across multiple settings. She is a strong advocate for the inclusion of student and parent voice in decision making. More information is available at www.claraobyrne.ie.
