Developed by Synergy Lifelong Learning, this programme is for care-givers who are supporting and caring for children and adults.

This training focuses on the complexity of brain development, neurodiversity and in viewing behaviour as an individual’s stress response, as opposed to only looking at the behaviours we see. These sessions will discuss our responses and provide strategies to communicate in a way that promotes consistency, clarity and positive relationships.
Over the course of the two evenings this training will consider:
- Function of behaviour
- Positive support - Neuro-Affirming
- Proactive v Reactive responses
- Environment
- Evidence based approaches and strategies
- Consistency in approach
- Responses to escalating behaviour
- Awareness of self
- Non-verbal communication
